Well, it’s been a while since I traveled over the Pacific and I am pleasantly surprised by the low cost ($26/flight) of in-flight broadband on Korean Air. The last time I connected to the Internet on a plane was over a phone in First Class circa 1997 (cost well over $26 just for an hour @ 9600 bps). Wow! This Boeing Satellite Broadband rocks! Enjoying a little libation, blogging and getting to some work that I thought would have to wait until I touched down in Jakarta has made this trip worthwhile. Coach is almost like biz class 10 years ago. Except for the caviar and chilled Absolute… Oh well.
