Fashion Is Two Clicks Behind – response

Cathy Horn recently wrote an article about the lack of technological advancement in fashion. We, of course, couldn’t agree more (present company excepted). One of the reasons you can’t find KOYONO products in retail establishments or in fashion outlets is that we recognized that the business models around fashion and clothing retailing were rooted in old paradigms. Our stuff isn’t for everyone. The value of our offerings are both in how they look and how they work. Our customers like having a one to one relationship with our design team. We see and react to the repsonse from our customers in real time. Our designs are timeless, yet constantly being revised to address new understandings of our customers or to incorporate new materials and functionality.
